Lucca Allen’s Oulton Park weekend didn’t end as well as it started.
After posting faster times than when the 2024 British GP2 series first visited the Cheshire circuit earlier this year, the #11 was in contention for another podium in Saturday’s opening race when he suffered a huge high side crash, bringing an immediate halt to the race.
Transported to a local hospital for further checks we are pleased to report no serious injury, meaning Lucca should be back on track for the final two races of the year.
