Biography
British teenager Lucca Allen may have only recently started his road racing career but in the years he’s been competing, he’s already turning heads.
Starting on kart tracks in the British Mini Bike Series, Lucca took his first racing title in 2019 in what was only his second year of competition.
Moving directly into the British Superbike Championship paddock in 2020, he quickly adapted to a larger capacity bike, racing to an incredible fifth overall in the British Junior Supersport Championship in 2021.
He also finished runner up in the 2021 Yamaha bLU cRU cup, a series that is renowned the world over for allowing up and coming to talent to shine.
A year of due to injury only made Lucca stronger and after romping to third overall in the 2023 British GP2 Championship, Lucca had his eyes on the title in 2024.
Whilst the year began strongly for Lucca, who achieved a brace of podium finishes in the opening race of the season, a combination of rule changes outside of his control and techincal problems meant he was unable to fulfill his true potential. He finished fourth overall in the series.
Lucca is looking to take all he has learned from a character building 2024 when he takes on a new challenge in 2025 – competing in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship, becoming the first full time British rider to do so.
