Lucca Allen’s 2024 season is over, and the British teenager ended it in fine style with a return to the podium and a fourth-place finish in the final round of the 2024 British GP2 Championship.

The results, a fine second place on Saturday, combined with P4 on Sunday ensure he finishes fourth overall in the final points standing for the year.

It has been a mostly positive 2024 for Allen. In addition to finishing on the podium multiple times he worked hard off track to increase his social media following and attended a round of MotoAmerica – a series that he has followed closely for the past couple of years.

Looking ahead to 2025, Lucca is weighing up his options. An announcement on his plans will be made in due course. He wants to end the year by thanking everyone who has supported him this season.

Lucca Allen:

“It’s been a tough year at times that’s for sure, but I have learned a lot, and I have more experience now. After the crash at Oulton, I wasn’t sure I would be able to finish the year so to be able to ride at both Donington and Brands was really important for me. P2 in the penultimate race of the year gave me a nice boost and even though I couldn’t finish in the top three overall after crashing I can look back quite proud of what I achieved. I want to thank the FR89 team for their efforts these past couple of seasons and I wish them well for the future. Thanks to all my sponsors, to everyone who supports me and to my parents who are behind me all the way. I have something lined up for next year, but we have to wait a little bit longer before I can announce it. See you all in 2025!”
